mathias-reding-72AqF1lK66o-unsplash_bearbeitet.jpg

The Thumb represents worry and depression and is connected to the stomach, pancreas, and spleen. Symptoms of imbalance include stomachaches and headaches.

The Index Finger is associated with confusion and anxiety and reflects the kidneys and bladder. The associated complaints are back pain and toothache.

The Middle Finger is associated with the emotion of anger. It corresponds to the liver as an organ, and typical complaints include migraines, visual disturbances, and exhaustion.

The Ring Finger is associated with fears of loss and insecurity and reflects the large intestine and lungs. The most common complaints associated with it are asthma and digestive problems.

The Little Finger is the most important finger in Jin Shin Jyutsu. It embodies self-awareness and is connected to the heart and small intestine. Typical complaints are disorders of the nervous system, sore throats, and cardiovascular problems.

What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?

The name Jin Shin Jyutsu can be translated into English as “compassionate person” (Jin), ‘creator’ (Shin), and “art” (Jyutsu). In other words, the creative art of the compassionate person.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient healing art that was rediscovered and further developed in Japan in the 1890s by Master Jiro Murai. The method is based on the idea that life energy flows through our bodies in a multitude of energy pathways. Each part of our hands is also associated with specific organs, which in turn are connected to our emotions. Jin Shin Jyutsu aims to restore the natural flow of energy in order to bring the body and mind into balance.

Each finger is associated with a different emotion:

GWA Method© – Balance of body, mind, and soul

The effect of spiritual spinal alignment

All emotional feelings and experiences that a person experiences in their life are stored in the nervous system, the spine, and the surrounding tissues. Our spine responds to this with curvature, twisting, overload, and displacement of the vertebrae and intervertebral discs.

Energetic alignment and spiritual spinal alignment are forms of spiritual healing through the transfer of alignment energy. This not only affects the spine, but also restores the natural order of body, mind, and soul. This in turn stimulates the body's self-healing powers. In many cases, this leads to an immediately visible straightening of the spine, compensation for leg length differences and pelvic obliquity, and the relief of pain.

It is therefore about the alignment of the human being as a whole. The original state is restored or strengthened preventively. In fact, this approach is not far removed from the therapeutic approach of craniosacral osteopathy, which uses the spine and spinal cord as the central link between the brain, the body's control center, and the sacrum/coccyx, where the lowest energy center, the root chakra, is located.

What complaints can energetic spinal alignment help with?

Energetic spinal alignment can help with a wide variety of complaints and discomfort. By harmonizing the energy centers and restoring the natural order on the various levels of body, mind, and soul, it is possible to regulate any complaints.

Here are some possible applications of the GWA Method©:

Pelvic obliquity, functional leg length discrepancy, scoliosis:

Straightening the spine simultaneously leads to the balancing of the entire body's statics, because these conditions are interdependent.

Back and joint pain:

By aligning the spine and harmonizing the energy centers, energetic spinal alignment can help to alleviate or reduce back and joint pain. It can help to restore the natural alignment of the spine, thereby reducing strain and tension in the back and joints.

Headaches:

Headaches are often caused by tension in the neck and shoulder area. Energetic spinal alignment can help to release tension and balance the flow of energy in the body, which can lead to relief from headaches.

Stress, anxiety, and emotional trauma:

The social and emotional stress of modern life can cause blockages and imbalances to build up in the body and energy system. Energetic spinal alignment can help to release these blockages and harmonize the flow of energy. This can reduce stress and promote a state of relaxation and well-being.

It is important to note that the effects of energetic spinal alignment can vary from person to person. Every person is unique and responds individually to treatment.

Qi Gong – Teaching on cultivating body and mind

Qi Gong – Teaching on cultivating body and mind

What is Qi Gong?

Qi Gong has been part of traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years and it is a form of meditation, concentration, and movement for cultivating the body and mind.

Qi Gong combines elements of martial arts with slow, flowing movements and breathing and meditation techniques. According to traditional Chinese medicine, “qi” flows through the meridians = channels of your body. According to this medical view, if the flow of energy is disturbed, complaints and illnesses occur more quickly. Methods such as Qi Gong are used to restore harmony to the flow.

What types of Qi Gong are there? A distinction is made between still and active Qi Gong.

Still Qi Gong: In still qigong, you stand or sit quietly and concentrate on your breathing and the flow of your “qi.” You move very little or not at all. The aim is to open your energy centers and allow the “qi” to flow harmoniously. This type of qigong is ideal if you need a break or want to improve your concentration.

Active Qi Gong: In this type of Qi Gong, you move gently and fluidly in harmony with your breath. It is like a kind of choreography of movements that stretches, strengthens, and relaxes your body. This type of Qi Gong is perfect if you want to be active and relax at the same time.

Positive effects of Qi Gong:

Qi Gong is said to have healing properties. Although much of this is based on personal experience, recent studies* point to a whole host of positive effects.

If your “qi” becomes unbalanced, you can use Qi Gong to harmonize your energy flow again. With special Qi Gong exercises, you can guide your “qi” back into the right channels of your body.

Qi Gong for your health

The method strengthens your immune system and keeps you healthy and fit.

It improves blood circulation and lowers your cholesterol levels. Qi Gong can even alleviate minor ailments and pain. The gentle but deep movements of Qi Gong are also good for your back. Your muscles and ligaments in the spine are stretched, releasing tension. This improves your overall posture.

Qi Gong also promotes digestion, among other things through deep and conscious breathing. The gentle movements also release blockages in the body.

Qi Gong restores your inner balance in a natural way.
